IVF short protocol 17-18 day treatment including 1
day in hospital
ICSI/TESA short protocol 17-18day treatment including
1 day in hospital
FRET treatment/ambulatory stimulation with 1 hour stay
in hospital
IVF, ICSI, and TESA include
5 year's cryo-preservation of Remaining Embryos.
If a full fertility screening report is not
available, the short protocol commences with a few of tests on both partners
(although this is in most cases already done just after the diagnosis
of infertility). A stimulation protocol is made based on the history,
age, and previous experiences with ovarian stimulation then on the second
day of menstruation, stimulation commences for 10-14 days with the patient
staying in hospital the 1st day after the stimulation period for the pick-up
and transfer.

Day 2 following menstruation:
Suprefact nose spray - 3 treatments of 3 sniffs per day.
Day 2 following menstruation:
daily injection of Puregon or other similar product. (200 Units per day)
Day 7 following menstruation:
first day of monitoring at the fertility centre.

If 2 weeks after the embryo transfer you don't have menstruation, then
you must undergo a blood test with your local GP to see if you are pregnant.
If the test turns out to be positive, see your gynaecologist and have
an ultrasound in order to evaluate the pregnancy. If the ultrasound shows
signs of a pulsating heart, then you may prepare for a pregnancy.
